MEET BRIAN president
GETTING PEOPLE MOTIVATED TO BE THEIR BEST, THATíS PRETTY MUCH WHAT BRIAN SPENDS THE MAJORITY OF HIS DAY DOING. Ever since he graduated from Samford University with a degree in Graphic Design and co-founded DC in 1991, Brianís been influential in helping clients see the value of a strong vision tied to smart communications. Heís poured body, heart, and soul into creating brand strategies for clients including Injoy Stewardship Solutions (ISS), TENS, Christ Church, VA, FBC Ft Lauderdale, Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, Lincoln Berean, Carson-Newman College, and countless others. Brian can also be found leading breakout sessions at various conferences including IABCU, Church Coop, X-Factor, and Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes where he challenges organizations to think bigger and be better about how they approach communications.
Brian's most proud of the Joneses... lovely wife Shannon, and his never-a-dull-moment boys, Archer and Beckham. He's also a big fan. Be it clients, DC, the Yanks, or his beloved Vols, heís loyal to his team. Another of Brianís many talents is the giving of nicknamesóand he never stops at oneóitís evolution. The beach might be his favorite place on the planet. He only eats Chuey's.

MEET LEE vp development
LEE IS KNOWN AROUND HERE AS THE “CLIENT’S BEST FRIEND,” AN HONOR HE’S EARNED THROUGH YEARS OF ACTIVELY LISTENING, SEEING NEEDS, PLUGGING HOLES, AND GENERALLY PUTTING PEOPLE AT EASE. He also posesses a knack for seeing the 30,000 foot view of a challenge without missing the details, a talent which just comes naturally for Lee.
Before joining DC in 2002, Lee served his alma mater as Samford’s Director of Marketing for ten years. This experience combined with relentless research and a desire to learn have served his clients well; University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Crossway Baptist Australia, Campbellsville University, Christ Church Florida, Ouachita Baptist University, and the People’s Church of Birmingham have reaped the benefit of his expertise.
We’re also pretty sure that Lee has found a way to clone himself. It’s not possible for one person to do as much as he does each day: faithful leader of the DC client development crew, father of three, husband (of one), commited Christ follower, avid blog reader, social networking officianado, UK fan, globe trotter, and always there any time you need him. He’s got to be delegating some of that stuff to Lee 2.0.

MEET MIKE vp creative
SINCE 1996, MIKE HAS BEEN DOING TOP-NOTCH CREATIVE FOR DC CLIENTS AROUND THE GLOBE. A Samford grad, he combines a unique understanding of the Christian marketspace with a desire to get to a client’s essence in order to create communication solutions that are personal and effective. As our cultural pulse keeper, there’s not a denomination, church trend, or cultural issue that he’s not either worked within or of which he has a keen awareness.
Clients that have benefited from Mike’s ability to understand and bring to the surface their distinctives include the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Golden Gate Seminary, Carson-Newman, Campbellsville University, Missouri Baptist University, and literally hundreds more. Besides client work, he makes sure the DC team is syncing up with our own mission and values.
Outside of DC, Mike has many passions. Fly fishing, fly tying, painting (mostly fly fishing scenes), taking his kids fly fishing... you get the picture. He is a soccer fanatic and has more jerseys in his closet than most people have socks in their sock drawers. Food might be the biggest rival for his attention if not his affection. Seriously, try getting anything out of him during a lunch meeting while food is on the table—good luck.

MEET JASON account rep
JASON IS THE GUY MOST LIKELY TO GO INTO FULL-TIME MINISTRY. NO WAIT, HE’S ALREADY DONE THAT. With a degree in Business from Palm Beach Atlantic University, “Becks” has worked in and around Christian ministry for the last 13 years. Sincere, compassionate, and authentic Jason combines his experience with a unique understanding of the client communication challenge. He’s good... for a Florida fan.
Jason helps organizations see and articulate their vision more clearly, and he’s done so time and time again. Lincoln Berean, St. John the Divine, Fellowship Bible Church (Austin), FUMC Phoenix, FBC Tallahassee, and a slew of others can attest to his commitment to listen and problem solve. It doesn’t hurt that he’s super easy to talk to and dashingly handsome (at least his wife thinks so).
Most Tuesday mornings, you can find Jason hooping it up with the fellas (in his prime, he played pro ball in Sweeden). He’s also a scratch golfer, a servant at heart, and is greatly outnumbered at home (4 girls).

MEET ADAM operations and prodcution
BEFORE COMING ON BOARD IN 2010, Adam had already proven himself a DC'er. Formerly a client, Adam now serves as director of operations and production. A whatever-it-takes kind of guy, his love for technology and getting the job done right makes him a valuable part of the DC team.
For most of his life, Adam has been involved with the local church. Mission trips on 4 different continents? Been there. Leading a young adult ministry as full-time staff? Done that. Six years with Injoy Stewardship working closely with churches in the area of leadership and stewardship? That too. Adam brings a variety of experience and perspective.
Adam loves the outdoors. Backpacking, fly fishing, adventure rescuing... you name it, he's tried it. As he puts it, "A few days on the trail can fix about anything." As a husband and father of 4, most of his free time is filled with wrestling matches on the floor, reading children's books (thank you iPad), and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors making memories with his family.

MEET SAM graphic designer
MEET THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE DC TEAM. Sam is an Auburn Grad & newbie to the Birmingham area. A native Alabamian, she finds it hard to resist the southern city charm.
Sam has a love for all things design, a secret drawer for hoarding paper samples, and a sweet spot in her heart for cartography (that's maps people). Antiquing & exploring cities are ranked as favorite things to do along with finding a scarf to match every outfit.
Sam brings with her an eye for good design, a strong understanding of color and typography, and a degree from Auburn's highly competitive design school. Welcome aboard, Sam!

MEET LAUREN design intern
HARDWORKING, CREATIVE, TEAM PLAYER, GREAT ATTITUDE, diligent, well-spoken,... those are some of Lauren's superlatives. A Samford design student and a native of Brentwood, TN, Lauren has a bright future as a designer. And if that doesn't pan out, she's also a world-class athlete. Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis... she's got skills. We're hoping she sticks with design.
